My name is Kelvin L. Porch; I’m an affiliate marketer and a chronic back pain sufferer; I’ve had chronic pain now for over a decade. When my pain began, I wondered what was lurking behind my lower back pain, stiffness, and discomforts. I discovered that I had a herniated disc with nerve damage. I became puzzled about how to control and manage my discomfort.
Through home treatment, I was able to gain control of my low back pain discomforts. Interestingly, unlimited home treatment methods have a similar function to traditional medical practices but are far beyond their achievability. A sad fact; when treated through the medical system, sufferers don’t generate a creative resolution of their problem; they follow. So sufferers become ineffective when faced with simple integrations; because of dependency on the medical institutions, and that is why those sufferers cannot handle the integrations needed for a home treatment program.
Through home treatment, sufferers don’t follow; we use integrated thinking; for example, with a home treatment program, suffers put together the method and pain equipment needed for quality, reliable home treatment. A thinking process is necessary to begin a treatment plan. And should be used for continuous progress in a quality home program to manage your pain. Relieve Lower Back Stiffness
If you feel tightness in your lower back, it’s essential to pay attention to your discomfort and take steps to loosen the tension. Sometimes tightness in the lumbar region can lead to more significant problems, such as interfering with day-to-day activities or diminishing your sense of well-being. When you have tightness in your lower back, you may also feel pain, spasms, and cramping. Many times with back pain, you will feel a constant, dull ache, and your back might feel stiff, tense, and contracted; there could be tightness in your pelvis, hips, and legs.
Tightness in the lower back sometimes comes from doing a workout that you don’t routinely do; or if you’re not in good shape. This type of pain will reach its maximum intensity and then subside within a few days.
Thankfully there are simple stretches and exercises to improve flexibility and strength in the lower back. Aim at extending and lengthening your spine to relieve compression in the lower back, also include stretching the hamstrings for additional benefits. Try to choose exercises that work the hips, core, and gluteal (buttock) muscles.
It is a great idea to do low-impact aerobics or yoga daily, even if your pain is chronic. Be active as often as possible; doing exercises and activities to loosen up your lower back will help you stay in control of your pain. If you sit at a desk all day, it can lead to lower back pain issues such as neck pain, shoulder tightness, and many other ergonomic problems. By stretching, your body will be more resilient, your muscles will loosen, flexible, and you’re able to handle a full day at your desk.
Exercises that can strengthen your lower back and improve flexibility include:
Complete Knee to Chest- Align your pelvis and stretch the lower back and rear end muscles by lying flat on your back and pointing your toes toward the ceiling. Next, bend your right knee and pull your leg up to your chest as you wrap your arms around your knee and pull it closer to your upper body. Hold this position for 20 seconds ree times and slowly extend your leg to the starting position. Repeat this three times with each leg.
Try The Lying Knee Twist- Use this movement to stretch the muscles that support the back and strengthen the abdominal muscles. While lying on your back with your legs extended straight out. Bend the right knee up and cross it over the left side of your body. Hold this position as you feel a gentle stretch through the back and buttocks muscles for 20 seconds. Tighten your core muscles and rotate back to the center. Repeat this movement three times on each side.
Perform The Yoga Cat/Cow- As you kneel on all fours with your hands beneath your shoulders and knees directly below your hips. Now exhale as you gently arch your spine; now inhale and tighten your core muscles and round your back like a cat. Move slowly and move in each position for 5 to 10 seconds. Repeat this movement ten times.
Stretch The Piriformis Muscle- This muscle is sometimes the source of sciatica and radiating let pain. Perform this stretch to lengthen the Piriformis muscle. While sitting with a straight back, cross your left leg over your right leg, placing your foot next to your thigh, then tuck your right leg in towards your buttocks. Now Place your right hand on your left knee and slowly ease back into a stretch. Be sure to keep your back straight and chest lifted. Hold this position for 20 seconds.
The Cobra Stretch-To stretch tight abdominal muscles and the lower back. While lying on your stomach, extend both legs and place your palms on both sides of your head. Keep your forearms and elbows flat on the ground. Now push your body upwards slowly, and let your weight rest on your forearms. Ensure that you keep your hips on the floor. Obtain a comfortable position that stretches your abdominal muscles and lower back; stay in this position for 10 seconds. Now return to the starting position, and repeat five times.
The Restful Pose- For relaxation of the body. While on your hands and knees, your knees should be apart slightly wider than your hips. With the top of your feet flat on the floor, turn your toes in until they touch, and push your hips backward, bending your knees. Once you are seated comfortably, extend your arms fully, and thrust your hips forward until your head is resting on the floor with arms outstretched. Now roll your arms behind you till your hands are beside your feet, palms upward. Stay in this pose for 20 seconds, then return to the starting position. Perform three repetitions.
Try The Tens Unit- When your back hurts, include a Tens Unit in your home treatment program. The Tens is a low-cost option for chronic back pain; however, this device can be used anywhere you select on your body. This device is battery-operated and delivers low or high-intensity electrical impulses by electrodes, which you attach (with a pad) near the area of pain. A Tens device may be all you need to treat pain and other symptoms.
Your pride is the reflection of self-worth, which requires rejection of illusion. Get rid of the deception with a Tens Unit.
Best Exercise Equipment Low Back Pain
For recovery from back pain or to maintain spine health, cardiovascular exercise plays an essential role. When low back pain sufferers combine aerobic exercise for working the heart with anaerobic strengthening exercises and stretching, they receive both physical and mental benefits.
Some benefits include the following:
- For maintaining a healthy weight or lose weight.
- Helps relieve stress, anxiety, and depression.
- Improves flexibility and mobility.
- For increasing the strength of muscles and joints that support the spine.
- Increases circulation throughout the spine and supporting. structures, which is needed to generate healing.
- For improved quality and duration of sleep.
Although the physical benefits of exercise are vital, mental benefits are also. Through cardiovascular workouts, the release of endorphin (the body’s natural defense chemicals that help alleviate sensations of pain and produce overall positive feelings) in the brain leads to improved emotional well-being. Exercising is crucial for spine patients because depression, anxiety, and sleep disorders are common with chronic pain sufferers.
For a home treatment program for sufferers, access to low-impact home exercise equipment is vital to starting and maintaining a home treatment plan. With home exercise equipment, exercising can be done in the comfort of home in private, even when gyms aren’t accessible. And at home, the weather condition doesn’t matter; therefore, staying with an exercise program may be trouble-free.
The types of cardiovascular home exercise equipment recommended include the following :
Elliptical trainer- For chronic pain, the elliptical trainer is usually the first choice. These machines come with separate foot platforms that move back and forth in smooth, steady glides; therefore, you can avoid the jolts that cause stress from workouts like running. The elliptical trainers will go up to high speeds without damaging the back. For back support, most trainers have handles you can hold and twist. Be aware different trainers have different settings and designs. View product.
Recumbent bike-Recumbent bikes are more comfortable for chronic back pain sufferers or those with degenerative disc disease because of the backrest, which provides more support than an upright bike. Recumbent bikes give a great aerobic workout and also strengthen the lumbar region with or no impact.
Treadmill-Many sufferers with pain in the lumbar region will find the treadmill is a great choice to begin a new exercise routine. The treadmill is easily tolerated by most back pain sufferers regardless of their fitness level. When your strength and endurance have developed, you can use the treadmill for jogging and interval training.
A home treatment program gives sufferers the freedom to satisfy their own health needs and set their standards; by combining the mind, body, and emotions to manage pain for increased prosperity and happiness. Best Mattress For Lower Back Pain Sufferers
To fully experience value and growth in a home treatment program; requires continuous thought and effort. That need is an integral part of controlling chronic/acute low back pain. Pain sufferers’ treatment programs should increase in value to their health and for progress in pain management. Sufferers make a disastrous error by failing to put forth the honest, thought and rational effort needed for a quality home treatment program.
When your mattress doesn’t support your back needs, it can cause or worsen lower back pain. An inadequate mattress causes poor sleeping posture, strains muscles, and doesn’t keep the spine in alignment; these factors contribute to low back pain. A good night’s sleep is vital for physical and mental health; the problem is, not all mattresses provide comfort the whole night through. For that reason, many consumers turn to new types of bedding to lessen the restlessness they experience.
Memory foam mattresses mold to your body, which helps support your body’s alignment. These types of mattresses offer heat retention that softens the memory foam and make it easy to mold to your body, plus the elasticity puts the foam back in its original position when no one is on it.
If heat retention is a problem for you, a gel foam may be better because it offers a cooler material for sleeping. Gel foam mattresses are a combination of traditional and gel memory foam, and they’re preferred by many because of the added aspects for sleeping.
If you’re experiencing back pain because of a chronic condition or merely sleeping incorrectly, you need to get the problem fixed. Many times the problem is your mattress is too old or doesn’t conform comfortably.
Memory foam mattresses are continually changing, but best of all, they have proven to be beneficial to those who have chronic back pain. Give a memory foam mattress a try today for your treatment plan.
Portable Saunas Home
A quality home treatment program is a collection of alternative treatment methods and technical devices for pain relief. With a quality home treatment program, chronic pain sufferers will learn how to soothe their discomforts. Thru home practices, chronic pain sufferers will gain advantages over their aches and pain. Alternative treatment methods and technical pain devices are needed to be competent in pain management and are made available to all chronic/acute back pain sufferers. A home treatment program provides the power to nullify sometimes useless conventional treatment methods and illusions.
For chronic back pain sufferers, it is impossible to go from day-to-day without getting stressed from pain. Doing household chores alone will cause discomforts to flare-up enough to want some relaxation. Portable home saunas will get you the alleviation needed; they are successful because they raise the body’s core temperature. Home saunas will deliver most of the same physiological benefits as traditional saunas and infrared saunas.
A portable sauna is for one person per session. The sauna structure is small and tent-like with a zipper to allow the user access, holes permit the user to keep their head and arms outside the enclosure. Portable saunas are either steam or infrared heat, and most come with a chair to give a sauna experience. Both types use electricity, which plugs into a standard outlet.
While using the sauna, you will lose water weight; however, the water weight will return as soon as you drink liquids. Some evidence suggests that sauna use will increase metabolism, promote muscle building, and helps fat turn into energy. Also, if you have chronic back pain, a sauna will reduce soreness on nerve endings, reduce muscle spasms, and help the body heal naturally. Doctors recommend Sunlight saunas because of proven relief from chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, arthritis, sports injury, plus other chronic conditions.
Don’t use a portable sauna if you’re pregnant, have a respiratory condition, have a heart condition, skin disease, skin disorder, or under the influence of alcohol.
Daily use would be ideal, but using it 3 or 4 times a week is still likely to produce many benefits. Using a sauna every day would be perfect as part of a home treatment plan; purchase a sauna as soon as you can for health benefits.
Home Treatment OF Lower Back Pain
Many sufferers have found conventional treatment methods are false assumptions, misconceptions, and wishful thinking. One may wonder how could we sufferers be so gullible as to embrace traditional medical treatment. There are many reasons why we sufferers move in that direction; it is because the strategy; is brilliantly planned and is utterly cunning. And once a sufferer initially accepts its basic premise, then we become caught up in a maze of intricacies and ambiguity from which there seems to be no escape.
Our cultural, social, and habitual activities can influence our perception of pain, the disorder created, and the type of treatment we pursue. Before choosing surgery, chronic back pain sufferers should use an economic evaluation. And compare the effectiveness of surgery to alternative practices at home.
Home treatment involves non-pharmacological and non-invasive management of discomforts. A quality home treatment program include staying active and the knowledge of alternative treatment methods. Sufferers should ensure they have no red flags, such as a history of trauma, fever, incontinence, or unexplained weight loss.
Cancer history, long-term steroid use, parenteral drug abuse, intense localized pain, and the inability to get into a comfortable position are red flags also.
